many thanks for this screencast. i was confused about refuctoring but this really cleared a few things up for me. will there be another one? perhaps with a demonstration of removing dependencies using an IoC container?

Thanks for the good word. At this stage I do not have any plan for further screencast. If I get enough request, then I will reconsider it though.
